Iguana Lodge
Juan Santamaria International Airport, San Jose, Costa Rica
Flying to Iguana Lodge – Fly from San Jose (SJO) or Liberia (LIR) to Puerto Jimenez (PJM). Sansa Airlines and Skyway have a variety of daily flights. Recently Aerobell and TAG also opened flights to Puerto Jimenez. Charter flights are available too. (Contact us for assistance or book directly below.)
In San Jose, Sansa Airlines and Skyway are located in the new Domestic Terminal, about 200 meters west of the International Terminal. (Aerobell and TAG operate out of another airport about a 30 minute drive from the main international airport in San Jose.) Walking Directions: When arriving in San Jose, all passengers will come out through Customs at the International Terminal. From there, head to your left – the walk takes under five minutes – hire a porter to haul your luggage and support the local economy! Everyone is happy with dollars, so you need not have Costa Rican colones to give a tip. (See walking direction map below.)
Booking a Flight – options:
If You Book Directly.
- You may find a better price, and save a few dollars or more.
- However, should you need to cancel or change your flights, their policies may not be favorable to you. You may receive a credit for a future flight, not a refund.
If You Book Through Iguana Lodge. (click here).
- This option gives you advantage of a one-stop one-shop service. Generally we can refund your money if you need to cancel, and often there is no change fee. We also offer tremendous support if your international connecting flight is running late or canceled.
- The disadvantage is that we only can offer flights at standard fares. Sansa Airlines and Skyway periodically has discounted pricing which they do not permit us to offer.
