Photography, as you can see from the photos throughout this site, is lauded greatly here. The Osa inspires photographers from around the globe to set up shop here, and we enjoy hosting photography groups. There is a magic about nature here – and photographing it is a joy to behold.
We have been deeply inspired and impressed by a variety of folks including Justin Andre, Reinaldo Aguilar, Sally Cleaver, Kristin Turner and Carroll Loyer – all, photographersextraordinaire – as well as Colin Cooke and Ralph Gabriner, both of whom are professional photographers from NYC, and are responsible for many of the photographs on this website.
International award winning nature photographer, Robin Moore, just graced us with his camera (and presence) – check out all the fabulous Iguana Lodge frog shots among others. We sell Roy Toft’s incredible Osa photography book here at the Lodge, and include a great shot of his: the purple river.
We would like to thank all for their fabulous photographs throughout this website. Meanwhile, each year we have a photo competition which generates an amazing array of great shots.
One of these days we may get it together to open a little photo area, where folks can tweak their photos, and put on nightly presentations…
