LET US TELL YOU A LITTLE BIT ABOUT IGUANA LODGE
Lots of people LOVE Iguana Lodge – and then come back year after year. Iguana Lodge is a four star hotel, but it’s not for everyone. There are no televisions in the rooms although we do have complementary wi-fi, – even out on the beach. Recently we added air conditioning to some rooms; we didn’t want AC for the longest time because once you have AC you have to have windows – and you lose the gorgeous jungle sounds, as well as tropical breezes and flowering fragrances.
At night, generally things close up early – except on Friday nights when we have a large, loud salsa dance party. This has been placed on hold since Covid – we hope to get it going again soon.
If you are looking for the Marriott, this isn’t it.
We bought the lodge when we took a swim. We moved here in 1999 from Colorado. We are still happy as clams and pleased as punch. Read About Us here.
The Osa Peninsula is a stunning place on planet earth Iguana Lodge prides itself upon its location, and we prize sustainable tourism, world-class adventures, community, wellness, joy and happiness…. not to mention the dining. As one of our guests coined it: “Come for the rainforest, stay for the food.”
“Because we believe that many of our guests have very full lives, our goal is to provide a spot where guests can relax, explore the natural wonders of the Osa, and enjoy the beauty of their lives, while helping to preserve this peninsula through sustainable ecotourism.” Lauren and Toby Cleaver ~ Owners since 1999 ~ Pura Vida.
