Gallop down our endless beach and ride through our local refuge, or head into the hills.

There is great horseback riding here.

We can arrange for some heavy duty trail riding, should you be skilled at the art of horsemanship or want to become so.  They don’t ride with bits in Costa Rica, but hackamores.

If you are here at certain times of year, you can also participate in the traditional Cabalgatas – which are local horseback rides with dozens of Costa Ricans.  Tons of fun!  You may even win a prize – like a saddle!  Let us know if you are interested.

Finally, if you are in the mood for some crazy adrenaline action – go for a horseback ride, and rappel down a spectacular waterfall.
